About this course:
We offer a 2 day training course. The aim of the course is to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to Safely carry out Hydrostatic Pressure Testing including the chlorinisation & de-chlorinisation off piping in accordance with IGN 4-01-03 2015: Issue 2 which is the adopted Irish Water Standard.

Course Objectives
Operative Course
Each Participant will be required to carry out a Hydrostatic Pressure test on PE Pipework as part of the training course.
- Understand why pressure testing is carried out and what it can tell us.
- Identify the different pipe materials and select the most appropriate test procedures.
- Identify test equipment, pressure pumps, data logger, flow meters and fittings and select the most appropriate ones for the test being carried out.
- Identify the most appropriate filling and test location and select the correct test pressure.
- Conduct a pressure test in accordance with IGN 4-01-03 2015: Issue 2.
On successful completion of the Training Course you will receive certification and ID Card which is valid for 3 years.
