Course details
People working on private polyethylene pipe systems for farming, aquaculture, irrigation and other non-endorsed applications.
Machine setup, pipe facing and alignment, heating, bead formation, fusion parameters, cooling and joint inspection.
One and a half days of guided workshop training using butt fusion equipment and polyethylene pipe.
Practical exercises and trainer checks are completed throughout the course.
An egeplast Ireland Butt Fusion certificate and ID card. This course is not endorsed by Uisce Éireann.
