This 1.5-day course is designed for individuals and businesses involved in private projects, providing the essential skills needed to weld polyethylene pipes from 20mm to 225mm. It is not endorsed by Uisce Éireann or any third party and does not follow specific training standards, making it ideal for non-compliance-required applications.
Certification
On completing this course, participants will receive an egeplast Ireland certificate of attendance, demonstrating their proficiency in basic electrofusion welding for private applications.

Our Trainers
Training is carried out by highly competent, approved, accredited and experienced welding trainers. We provide hands-on training, not simply demonstrations as others do. You can expect to weld 10 to 15 Electro Fusion Fittings ranging from 25 – 225mm
Course Objectives
Participants will gain hands-on experience in:
- Understanding polyethylene pipes and fittings
- Cleaning and preparing pipes for welding
- Using straight couplers, elbows, tees, and saddles
- Proper use of tools and welding techniques
